But these purposes may be various: the purpose of one person's life may be to achieve one kind of goal, that of another person may be to achieve a very different kind of goal. There need be no one thing that forms the purpose of every life.Cookiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03208748967504241097noreply@blogger.comBlogger10125truetag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3617289199678971342.post-80791884837423791182008-01-24T05:55:00.000-08:002008-01-24T16:20:48.698-08:00All those who belive in MEI am God. Today I will be handling all of your problems. Please remember that I do not need your help. If the devil happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve. Kindly put in the SFJTD (something for Jesus to do) box. It will be addressed in my time, not yours. Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold on to it or remove it. Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold on to it or remove it. Holding on or removal will delay the resolution of your problem. If it is a situation that you think you are capable of handling, please consult me in prayer to be sure that it is proper resolution. Remember, I do not sleep, nor do I slumber. There is no need for you to lose any sleep. Rest my child. If you need to contact me, I am only a prayer away.
Cookiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03208748967504241097noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3617289199678971342.post-75251317717810957982007-11-26T19:54:00.000-08:002008-01-24T05:54:51.239-08:00Daily life in PhilippinesOne of the possible locations to meet the people of the Philippines and to discover parts of the daily life of many Filipinos, is the market. The local markets in a big city or regional town are most of the time crowded and colourful. The sellers, young or older, will welcome foreigners in their stall.

They are always prepared for a friendly talk, even if you don't buy.

The Philippines is one of the developing countries where the sellers don't molest a foreigner in

an attempt to sell. Most of the Filipinos speak English rather good, so,

communication is not a problem.Cookiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03208748967504241097noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3617289199678971342.post-71738750856925200302007-10-29T21:52:00.000-07:002007-11-26T19:45:30.795-08:00InspirationalSuccess, whether measured in business, family or love, is often determined by the "right" attitude. Unfortunately, maintaining that proper frame of mind, a positive attitude, isn't always easy. Sometimes, in spite of our best efforts, Life just seems intent on bringing us down.

Inspiration, however, is rarely far away - if we are but willing to look for it.Cookiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03208748967504241097noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3617289199678971342.post-22939754559632183302007-10-28T19:17:00.000-07:002007-10-29T08:39:57.361-07:00Hubby's birthday greetings from the PhilippinesToday is my hubby's birthday..

Also St.Andrew Catholic Church Bazaar..in Sheldon road

Honey for you......Together forever, down lives long road through hilla and mountains, valleys and seas will cross any obstacles united will be. Of course, everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, will stop, take a break and turn their t.v. sets on just to see Manny fight. Fact is, I’m not a fan, but of course, as the nation’s pride in the realm of boxing, I cannot help but be awed in him as well.

In recent years, boxing has had a firm hold on us Pinoys that even choosing who will sing our national anthem for boxing fights has become such a troublesome affair. Hopefully, Kyla will not screw this one like what Christian Bautista did on the Penalosa fight just a month ago. I mean, missing out several important lines from the Lupang Hinirang is such a terrible, terrible mistake. And I have to say, I pity Christian Bautista for his tarnished rep.

Boxing has become the national recess and Manny has become the country’s scapegoat from everything, especially political turmoil and economic crisis. People momentarily forget their troubles when they see Manny fight; it’s like they are one with him whenever he goes inside the ring to put his opponent down. Boxing or, rather, punching is what appeals to most of us, I think. It’s a tension releasing mechanism aimed at concentrating your anger to hurt your enemy. I think that sounds logical, right? You’re mad at someone, so you punch him and that makes you feel better. For us worried Pinoys, the ‘enemy’ isn’t Mexico or any boxer Manny is in the ring with: it’s personal battles.
Lately, we have so many controversy hounding up the Senate: ZTE, the re-opened Hello Garci, the still unresolved Extrajudicial Killings and stuff. And just a week ago, an international controversy about Desperate Housewives’ racial slur against Filipino doctors has surfaced.

Lately, we have so many controversy hounding up the Senate: ZTE, the re-opened Hello Garci, the still unresolved Extrajudicial Killings and stuff. And just a week ago, an international controversy about Desperate Housewives’ racial slur against Filipino doctors has surfaced.

We’ve been named Most Corrupt, then we have Malu Hernandez’s remark against the OFWs and now this? With all of these stuff going on, who wouldn’t want a break?
So Manny, if you have the time to read this, please do your best. Do not let us down. Selfish as I may sound, we need entertainment and distraction more than your win. Winning for the country is good, it’s awfully commendable, but please consider our dire plea for much needed sanity.Cookiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03208748967504241097noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3617289199678971342.post-79546110090026630632007-10-03T09:14:00.001-07:002008-01-24T19:40:24.184-08:00FamilyNo one is ever born into Life alone. To get started, I checked the dictionary that stated a friend is "a person who knows and likes another, a person who favours and supports and a person who belongs to the same side or group."

By those definitions I have hundreds, maybe thousands, of friends, but I truly believe it goes beyond these definitions. A friend must do much more than like you. To me, a friend is someone who knows all about you and likes you anyway. Being a friend means more than recognizing that no one is perfect, it means accepting it.

I, like most people, have many flaws. My true friends not only tolerate these weaknesses but also love me because of them. They either help me see them myself without dwelling on them or they even help me to overcome some of these weaknesses. A friend is someone who doesn't ask you to change but helps you to grow.

The most important quality a friend can demonstrate is loyalty. This means standing by you when the going gets a little rough, not just in the good times. It means standing up for you at all times, not letting others demean you in any way, and never taking advantage of you or treating you badly.

Being supportive is yet another important quality in a friendship. This means cheering for you when things go your way, and being there during the bad times. Good friends allow you to make mistakes that you can learn from and forgive you for them. Loyalty, support, honesty and acceptance are so important to me that I would rather have 5 friends that fit my definition as opposed to 1000 "friends" that fit the dictionary definition.

Unlike family, we choose our friends. If your "friends" aren't all of the things that are important to you, then you should ask yourself why you are calling them a friend.Cookiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03208748967504241097noreply@blogger.com0
